About

I’ve been working as a Freelance photographer for the last five years now. The first camera I owned was a disc film based kodak camera. My interest in photography only really ignited when I got my first digital camera. The convenience of being able to take as many pictures as I wanted and not having to have the pictures processed made it easier to practice and develop my skills.

I live in Derbyshire and do a lot of my photography around the Peak District, though I do travel all round the country. The peak district is a beautiful part of the country with lots of varied views.

Most of my photography is pictures of landscapes though I also like taking pictures of flowers and wildlife.

I do most of my photography with Sony mirrorless cameras. I use the program Digikam to catalogue my pictures and the program KDEnlive to edit my videos.

I’m also working on getting better at creating 3D digital art. I started this journey using the nature scene creator program FlowScape, but have moved onto using Blender in order to produce better quality images.
